]Recent contracts
The public trade tape — recently matched YES/NO contracts at a price and volume, newest first. Served for settled markets too (historical tape from storage), not only live engine markets.

TakerSide names the outcome the AGGRESSOR bought — the side that crossed the spread and paid the taker fee. It is what lets a tape be read as pressure rather than as a list of prices: direction inferred from the price moving says nothing on the many fills that print at the price before them.
Empty means UNKNOWN, not "neither". A contract matched before the engine
recorded a taker, and any row served from the QuestDB tape (whose
contracts table does not carry the taker), report "" — clients must
render those as unattributed rather than picking a side.
