This is the shortest path from zero to your first trade on Calibri. Four steps: create an account, set up your wallet, fund it, and place an order.
1

Create an account

Sign up with an email address, continue with Google, or Sign in with Ethereum (SIWE) using a wallet. Email signups verify their address; a Google account is already verified, so it signs you straight in.
2

Set up your wallet

Calibri is fully non-custodial, so your funds live in a Safe that only you control. Set it up with a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN — nothing to install) or by connecting a wallet you already use. See Your wallet options.
3

Fund it

Calibri settles in USDC (a US-dollar stablecoin, 6 decimals). Send USDC to your Safe’s address and it becomes spendable for trading. See Funding your account.
4

Place your first order

Pick a market, choose YES or NO, and place a limit order. Price is between 0.01 and 0.99 and reads as a probability — a YES order at 0.60 means the market prices the outcome at ~60%. See Placing orders and Core concepts.
5

Watch it settle

When the market resolves, winning contracts pay the full 1.00 USDC per share and losing contracts pay 0. There is no fee at settlement — the only trading cost is the taker fee at the moment of the fill. You claim the payout yourself; see Redeeming winnings and Fees.

What “non-custodial” means for you

Calibri never holds your money. Your USDC sits in your own Gnosis Safe on-chain, and only your keys can move it.
  • You sign every order. The operator relays it to the market and pays the gas, so signing costs you nothing.
  • You redeem winnings yourself after a market resolves — the payout is yours to claim, not Calibri’s to release.
  • Your funds stay withdrawable even if Calibri is offline.
The trade-off is that self-custody is genuinely self-custody: nobody can recover your wallet for you. See Your wallet options for how each setup handles that, and Self-custody for the full model.
